Firm Successfully Enforces a Marital Separation Agreement
Prince William County, Virginia
September 2007
The firm successfully defended an action by the client’s wife to invalidate a marital separation agreement. If the agreement had been invalidated, our client would have to share his retirement accounts with his wife upon a divorce. After a presentation of the facts and relevant legal authority on the matter, the Court ruled the marital separation agreement was indeed valid. Our client was able to maintain possession and ownership of all retirement accounts.
